My phone will barely charge?

So I have a kyocera phone (i'm trying to save up for a better phone but with gas prices its been impossible) and my phone will only charge if the cord on the charger is in a certain way and if I move the cord at all even slightly it takes forever to find the position again. I know its not the outlet i'm using because this happens at every outlet I try.
