Why are us Australians always so #$%# negative and always complaining about stuff?

About 97% of questions I see on here are from ranting, raving, noisy, complaining people with some minor gripe about the weather, or spiders, or people that arrived on a boat, or bad manners at the salad bar, or bogans, or public transport, traffic james, birds, spiders, sour milk,etc., why can we not be more tolerant and accepting like me, you wont find me sending back a soup in a restaurant just because the #$%# waitress dropped it on the floor, last week I was walking thru the park and got warm dog chocolate on my best slippers and pajamas but not a complaint passed my lips..I just wiped it off with my hankie and bid the dogs owner a cheery good afternoon and moved on, sometimes when planes fly over my caravan it wakes me up in the middle of a nap but I dont complain because I know that would be un-Austrtalian,some days I just walk around smiling at strangers, so instead of getting all warped and angry and taking out your frustrations here on YA just take a deep breath and a bex and relax you will find that your problems are not really problems at all, cant we all just make a bit more effort to get along?

Trying to lose weight to be a model....?

So as of right now I'm 114ish pounds which I think is gross, now please don't start griping at me because I'm 5'2, it does look horrible, and I want to lose 20 pounds. Any of you guys with experience getting under 100 or to it have any tips or anything? I'd like to lose at least 12 pounds of that by mid august

Help!! I need advice about how to deal with a conflict with my parents?

Help! So, today at school around noon I texted my mom asking her if I could come home because my leg was really sore (I'm currently pre-op for an acl/mcl/meniscus tear injury). All we were doing after lunch was the annual "undercalssmen awards ceremony" where the teachers motivate lesser students by giving them awards and stuff in front of the whole class. There was really no reason for me to be there, especially since they weren't marking absences in the afternoon. She said no, so after some mild griping I hung up and went to the assembly, which was scheduled to last from about 1-3. Mid-way through, my leg was really throbbing, so I left and went to the sick room so I could ice and elevate. I texted her again asking for her to come get me, to which she responded with the always handy "ask your father." I did, and he FLIPPED OUT. He accused me of faking so that I could skip the ceremony and told me to "get the f****** ice and go back to the auditorium." I stayed in the sick room until 3, when school was let out. When I got home, my mom was saying things like "just wait until your dad gets home" and threatened to cancel my weekend plans of playing with a professional orchestra at a memorial day event. I have to find some way to convince them to let me go!! Any advice?? Please help!
