About 97% of questions I see on here are from ranting, raving, noisy, complaining people with some minor gripe about the weather, or spiders, or people that arrived on a boat, or bad manners at the salad bar, or bogans, or public transport, traffic james, birds, spiders, sour milk,etc., why can we not be more tolerant and accepting like me, you wont find me sending back a soup in a restaurant just because the #$%# waitress dropped it on the floor, last week I was walking thru the park and got warm dog chocolate on my best slippers and pajamas but not a complaint passed my lips..I just wiped it off with my hankie and bid the dogs owner a cheery good afternoon and moved on, sometimes when planes fly over my caravan it wakes me up in the middle of a nap but I dont complain because I know that would be un-Austrtalian,some days I just walk around smiling at strangers, so instead of getting all warped and angry and taking out your frustrations here on YA just take a deep breath and a bex and relax you will find that your problems are not really problems at all, cant we all just make a bit more effort to get along?

Help! So, today at school around noon I texted my mom asking her if I could come home because my leg was really sore (I'm currently pre-op for an acl/mcl/meniscus tear injury). All we were doing after lunch was the annual "undercalssmen awards ceremony" where the teachers motivate lesser students by giving them awards and stuff in front of the whole class. There was really no reason for me to be there, especially since they weren't marking absences in the afternoon. She said no, so after some mild griping I hung up and went to the assembly, which was scheduled to last from about 1-3. Mid-way through, my leg was really throbbing, so I left and went to the sick room so I could ice and elevate. I texted her again asking for her to come get me, to which she responded with the always handy "ask your father." I did, and he FLIPPED OUT. He accused me of faking so that I could skip the ceremony and told me to "get the f****** ice and go back to the auditorium." I stayed in the sick room until 3, when school was let out. When I got home, my mom was saying things like "just wait until your dad gets home" and threatened to cancel my weekend plans of playing with a professional orchestra at a memorial day event. I have to find some way to convince them to let me go!! Any advice?? Please help!

My 1 month daughter is screaming since sh was born. Sounds like it to me!! I didn't start to get cramps till about a year after I started, so it may be even if you dont get cramps. Take note of when this started so you know when your next period should be. Discharge is usually a whitish colour. Also, if the blood starts to smell like iron, it's definatly your period. This is kind of long peeps, sorry, but here it goes! My husband and I have been together 10 years, but only married 4 of them. We have always fought, but here lately, it has been so horrible that even his sister (whom I've only become friends with in the last few years) has told me she would have left her husband for a whole lot less.. I got upset, and at this time, we were living with his parents, so his mom told me to go take a shower and get ready, and he'd either go, or stay home pouting.. He finally realized I was going anyways, and he went and had a good time... Then when we were moving, his sister and I had to move EVERYTHING, because he simply didn't want to... My whole point is, his family sees how he is, and his mom can't understand why he is acting this way. She told him "There is no way I raised you, you a$$ hole!!! Because you would never treat her this way!!!" They all think I need to seperate from him... I can't afford to though, because we just bought a new house, and I have a new car... I also know, with his anger, if I don't move everything when I make that decision, he will distroy it, and he would never take me back.. I go to work, come home, unload the dishwasher, vaccum, start a load of laundry, cook dinner, eat while waiting for him to come home from his parents. Get done eating, still waiting for him to come home and eat so I can clean up the kitchen, change out the laundry, sweep the floors, clean the bathrooms, hubby comes home and gripes about what I cooked, eats, I clean up kitchen, take care of animals, hang up last bit of laundry, take a shower, go to bed and do it all over again.. So when I ask for us to hang out with my parents, or friends on the weekend, I don't understand why he has to be so mean.. Also, I work more hours than he does, and I work an hour away, so it's not that he is tired. I am just so tired of walking on egg shells, and I am becomming more an more unhappy.. 5 week old barely eating ?

My 5 almost 6 week old baby is barely eating her bottle she is formula fed we haven't had a problem until today she normally eats 3 Ozs every 3-4 hours and today she wasn't eating much maybe 2 Ozs if that she spit up almost her whole bottle at one point and she just falls asleep I have had I wake her up a couple times today o and when she does eat it's like she is holding formula in her mouth and just letting it spill out of her mouth so she isn't swallowing much I want to call the doctor but I'm going to give it a little while longer atleast see what happens tonight maybe her belly is upset? My boyfriend uploaded a book onto amazon. It is a book that briefly talks about his life to give the readers an idea of who he is. He mentions his friends, families and even enemies. There is no mention or reference to me in the book at all. Not in the content, dedications or acknowledegements. I have been by his side when no one was there so that really shocked me. Last night, I emailed him to compliment him about the book and I also said that I felt a certain type of way about not being referenced. Except I referred to myself as my alter ego. My brother and his girlfriend have 2 kids, a boy 14 months and a girl 2 months. My brother is 22 and his GF is 20. They all live with my mom, dad and sister. My brother is off at work from 7 in the morning sometimes for 12+ hours during peak season or till about 2-3pm during off season. His GF doesn't work n is home with the kids all day. She watches television while on facebook on her itouch and downloading music on the laptop. My nephew's crib is full of diapers, dirty clothes, toys, etc and she still lays him there to sleep. Their room floor is about the same. She undresses and just steps out of her shorts and underwear, one day my mom found that under a pile of the babies clothes. she feeds him undercooked food. She will be feeding him but is so concerned with her itouch that she holds the spoon of food out n my poor little nephew holds his mouth open but she just holds it out till she's finished looking through facebook. My mom seeing this has taken on almost all responsibility over my nephew. She feeds him, bathes him, changes him, to the point where he looks for her for everything he needs. The worst was today when she went to her mom's for most of the day and when she came back, my nephew had filthy clothes on, a sweater vest (its like 95 degrees here now) diaper completely puffy full of urine and he seemed to be in pain when taking a step. This is a boy who is constantly running around but when we tried to stand him up he would cry and cry. She insisted that he was just in a bad mood because he had just woken up. My mom kept on asking her if something had happened that way we could fix it and she kept saying nothing had happened. we looked him over and no apparent injury was visible. I was ready to take him to the hospital to have him checked out but little by little he started to want to walk on his own. he still limped a little but was walking on his own a little better. When my brother got home he just said oh maybe he got a cramp, and kept on talking about his day at work and eating his dinner. I got mad that he was just so nonchalant about his kid but when his GF complains of a headache he trips over himself trying to make it better. When my mom brings to his attention stuff his GF does he defends her tooth and nail. In his eyes she can do no wrong n in the meantime she neglects the kids as she pleases. She feeds them whenever they get fussy, never has them on any type of schedule. My mom has expressed concern that she gives my nephew a lot of tylenol during the day so she can nap. I do see them giving him children's tylenol regularly. She believes this because when my nephew is upstairs with his mom he's usually asleep n very quiet. When mom brings him down with her after my brother leaves for work the baby will be up n screaming n just being a kid. She's tried to talk to my brother about it n like i said he just makes up excuses for his GF and gets upset that mom accuses her of any wrong doing. Once, they all got into a big argument and the girl said she was leaving to her mom's with the baby (one baby at that time). My brother just looked at my mom and said "see what you've done? now im going to lose my son" After today I was ready to call CPS but since mom lives in the same house, will cps remove the kids and place them with strangers in a foster home. I have heard terrible stories from places like that and im afraid. I would love to keep him myself but i work 12 hours a day- 6 days a week and he'd end up with a babysitter or my mom, again, in the same house as the mom. At this point I could care less if my brother gets mad at me or ends any relationship with me. They have taken over my mom's house and made it seem like my parents are the ones living with them. The family has no use of the living room because she is always there watching tv with baby stuff spread out over both couches. Its not fair, but we don't want the kids to go live somewhere where they will be at risk of getting seriously hurt and constantly neglected. Help!

Giving my 3 month year old baby oatmeal?

I tried doing the same with my son as far upping the ounces but my pedi suggested that 6 oz was too much at that age.my sons 19 lbs at 7 months.doctor says he's right on track.some babies r lighter and some r heavier but oatmeal that early isn't suggested.a single graib rice cereal would be better but I doubt he'd be capable of eating off a spoon that early or understand his tongue reflex of how to use it to push the food to the back of hIs mouth then swallow. Hi. I have a 4 month old baby that is having trouble with gases. I took him to the doctor twice but he keep sending me to give him gripe and Ovol for his gases. i get the point that he is full of gases even though the doctor thinks i dont take his gases out after each feeding but i do and not just one gas comes out. Bringing "Oversize" Items On A Plane?

Pink-screen PS3 non-hdtv prob!! Help!?

So I bought a PS3 and haven't upgraded my TV situation to an HDTV...so I bought a R/G/B PS3 cord and am currently using it. I held down the power button for 10 secs and reset it already. The graphics are still really good and the sounds impeccable, BUT everything is a tinge of pink. Everything. The PS3 home screen, DVD playback, games, internet...everything. I've tried to unplug the cord and replug it back in, and other R/G/B ports on my tv. It just doesnt seem to come in normal. Whites, greys, pretty much anything neutral or red is pink-ish.

Okay i just had the weirdest dream and it freaked me out but I don't understand...?

Hooked up car cd player and it doesnt work.?

So I bought a new cd player and when I took out my old the wire plugin didn't match my new one. So I looked at each set of wires and I cut off the old plugin. I grounded the black wire with the metal piece to a screw inside my dash. Then I split the same wires of each set and twisted them together and then used electrical tape to cover them. There were some extra cords but I had no where to hook them up so I wrapped them up so they wouldn't just be open inside of the dash. I then plugged in the power (or antenna) not sure which one it was but it fit my new cd player as well. I then put my dash back together and screw in and plug back in everything I had messed with in order to get to my cd player. I turn my car on to see if my cd player works and I here it make a noise (the cd player itself) but it didn't come on. No lights, no sound, nothing. What did I do wrong? How do I make it work??

I left 2 hours earlier that what I was going to leave at. He griped me out for that. After he was done yelling at me, I went back to my desk and tried to work. I should have just gotten up and left. Anyways, its been a couple days since then and the head boss doesn't even care that I'm here. Doesn't acknowledge me, say hello, nothing. What would make me stay here any longer? Besides being the only designer, but that's their fault for not getting another one to fall back on if something was to happen to me. They have no safety, but I don't want to be here if i'm not getting treated like i should be. I have been married for almost 10yrs. Until recently it hasn't been a very great one. No one is perfect but for years I was shown hardly any affection at all & the attention I got was being griped/yelled at for anything & everything. I know what happened was wrong. We both admit that. I just don't think its fair for him to tell me I can never speak to him again. He's connected to everyone that we know & there is a good possibility that he could be anywhere we go in town. I do not feel like i should have to give up my friends & music over this. I am willing to change my relationship with this friend & I think that my husband should be able to be in the same bldg as him & just not talk to him & avoid getting too near him. 2 of my good friends are getting married in a few weeks & he says we're not going, our friends band is having a huge 10ys celebration & we have been there since the beginning. we can't go support those guys because he might be. Input is 120v, Output is 9v. Someone was running across the room and snapped the cord in half. I could probably strip the plastic insulation and twist the wires back together. It snapped close to where the "black box" is. The black box part plugs directly into the wall. I was trying to strip the plastic part off, when I saw a spark when I exposed the wires. So I'm assuming there is still a charge inside the "black box". So, I left it alone. Is this not a safe thing to do? Should I assume there is still a lot of electricity inside of it? My Ipod Touch Got Wet What Do I Do ?

Well, while I was holding a cup with one hand less than half way filled with iced tea, the other hand was holding my ipod which I was using then while I was typing it slipped out of my hand and into my cup . It fell upside down , so the side that had the power button was in the iced tea . I quickly took it out and starting wiping it and shaking it . It was still on , so I clicked the home button and then I clicked the power button ( I was trying to see if all the buttons were working ) then I was planing on shutting it off and turing it back on but it turned off by itself . I frantically tried turning it back on but it didn't . Then I thought maybe it'll turn on if I connect it to my charger , maybe it just died because it wasn't charged . So I connect my ipod in my computer , itunes pops up & a little box pops up saying that I need to put in the pass code but how can I put my pass code if my screen doesn't want to turn on. Then I start clicking buttons again , I start noticing that my screen is on its just that its really really dark , I could see the dim apple logo , then I click something again then a very dim usb cord and the itunes logo comes up in my screen I could barely see it though I have to put it in the light to see . I start pressing on the power button for at least 10 second then it showed the little red sliding thingy that say slide to power off , it shows my the small little battery on the top and the cancel button on the bottom . The lock screen never showed up my ipod is still dark and I really don't know what to do anymore, My Ipod 3G 32GB is 6months old all scratched up from how many times I've dropped it and the volume buttons don't work I don't think it has a warrenty or what ever that is so I can't bring it to the apple store . What is wrong with her? I think she is gassy. This has been going on for a week and since I co-sleep with her I do not sleep all night long. Loose Stools in children.?

What would help me the most is to get some feedback from anyone who has a disability that is limited in participating in daily activities. I am in an assistive technology course and our assignment is to invent a device that would bridge that gap. My goal is to be able to take your requests and design something that would be specific to your needs. It can be any disability and any request that is sincere. Just to get an idea of what I am trying to do here's an example that has already been done. A man who was an avid bowler had a spinal cord injury which caused limited function of the muscles in his hands. He has a good amount of weakness but still could move his hands pretty good. Someone designed a ramp that could be used from sitting in his wheelchair. He positions it just in place and has his teammate hold it in place by the handles installed at the top. The ball was positioned at the top of the ramp and he would use his hands to propel it down the ramp. He would make strike after strike! It was amazing to see this and it has really motivated me to learn other areas of need. Would love to hear from you!

Is tummy time good for a newborn with colic?

my 21/2 week old jus developed wat we think is colic he crys nd crys espically after feedings nd seems to be in pain for several hours out of the day I spoke with the doc nd she sugested it may be colic so we ben using dr browns natural flow bottles gripe watter nd milacon drops to help manage it but I've noticed that him bein on his stomach on my chest helps sooth him so I tryd layin him on the couch on his belly it had the same effect can tummy time help with his colic? Are the any other sugestions from moms whove delt with a child with colic wat can we do it's draining nd I feel horible to see my little one in soo much discomfort

Start windows normally screen keeps coming back?

When I turn on my pc, it goes to the screen for safe mode safe mode w/ networking start windows normally blah blah but after choosing any of them, the pc just restarts again and eventually goes to the same page but there are times when it completely boots up and goes to windows, but as soon as I open any program, the pc shuts down just as if somebody unplug the power cord

What can I do about my landlord not cleaning the home before I moved in?

I just moved into this house 2 days ago. I had signed the lease on the 16th of April so the property management company had ample time to get this house cleaned. I paid 3100 cash up front the day that we looked at the property. 1100 for the Junes rent 550 for the remainder of May and then another 1100 for a security deposit! We got here with our trucks full of stuff only to see that the homeowner still had stuff here! The refridgerator was disgusting, I could tell the carpets had not been cleaned, the toilets still had pee drops and pubic hairs all over them. Bugs in the tub, food and what not still in the cabinets, dog pee right by the front door on the tile, i mean it was horrible. I understand that the home owner is military and doesnt have much time but he hired a PROPERTY MANAGEMENT OFFICE. Also, the first night we were here there was NO hot water..i called the property manager and asked him to send someone out, he told me I should stay at a hotel! I did call corporate and he has since called and griped out my hubby about that. But he admits no wrong doing in having us spend our first 10+ hours here cleaning! Shouldn't that company be responsible for that? What can I do? I do not know Colorado laws! Please help! Thank you

Two Routers and One has two names?

I just updated my modem from comcast and they have gave me modem that is also a router. i had a router before and now i have two. i use both but the router from comcast is slow for some reason and ever since i connected the modem to my old router the laptop reads two names from router for example it says 'xxxxxxxx' & 'xxxxxx(2)' . and they both lose connections. is there a problem with the router or my cable? the modem is ran by a cable cord. and my laptop is connected wireless

How does a Western rider get used to taking English lessons?

I have been riding since before I could walk but I've never really had any formal English training (just a few lessons from friends) so I enrolled in some classes because I want to know more and be the best horsewoman possible. My first class was Saturday and It was a disaster. The teacher griped about everything from my posture, my outfit, my trailer, my tack, everything. When she said my horse was "an old nag" I got downright irate (I was around children so I held my tongue and didn't deck her in the mouth like I wanted). She used phrases and words (specific to English riding) that I'm not familiar with and then made me sound like an @ss because I had no clue what she was talking about. She barked, yelled, and complained so much the kids were looking at me with sympathy. It was embarrassing. I ride to ride for the pleasure of riding and being with my companions, my horses, not to show off or please others. It's very frustrating and I'd like some advice on how to deal with this. There are not any other stables in the area that I know of and she's the only person giving English lessons around that I have found so far. Suggestions? Ideas? Thanks.

Should i talk to my friend about her getting on my nerves?

Well my friend kinda of wanted to go to prom with her crush but her crush asked a different girl and she won't shut up about it, and she is always trying to be the center of attention and she always talks about herself ie: boy issues, family issues, friend issues and exciting news. Well i got asked to prom (NOT by her crush but by a really nice guy) and i said yes even though i wasn't wanting to go to prom (after a while and talking to some of my other friends i got more excited about going), and so she got very mad and jealous at me but yet she still talks to me and calls me her bff. She yelled at me for talking about prom 24/7 when it wasn't even 24 hours after he asked me and we did talk about other things other than prom and i didn't even talk about prom for an hour. She says im rubbing it in that she didn't get asked by the one she wanted to but i was only asking for advice since she is a really good friend. She is giving me really bad advice now, and i try to avoid her or talk to my other friends since she is bringing me down and getting me unhappy. I don't want to lose her as a friend since she is a really good friend other than this. Kenwood deck mounting help?

So I bought a Kenwood deck from my friend. I had noticed that my stock deck was bolted on. And that I had no idea how to bolt my new deck down so it doesnt come out. So basically you can just grab the deck and pull it out. I was wondering how. Or what I can buy so I can mount this deck so it wont come out. Don't let her behavior bother you, she is just trying to irritate you. If I were you I would continue answering her ringing phone, don't mention it to your boss, and do it well. The last time I answered another persons ringing telephone, a task that wasn't necessarily my job but I did it glady, I got nominated for an award. It was actually one of the best things that ever happened to me. My point is just ignore her behavior, and maybe not immediately, but if she doesn't straighten up her act she will cause her own demise (not that you want that to happen but she will straighten up).

Recently i have been having a really dull ache in the lower part of my back, it starts from the kidney area downwards. I have also been having pulling, griping pains in my stomach....sometimes its not pain...it feels tingly. Have you tried letting him sleep up right in his car seat or a swing? If he continues to cry then I would take him to the doctor. There could be another reason for his crying. Maybe acide reflux or something to that nature. If he's breastfed then if could be something in your diet that's triggering it.
